Elliot Jarvis

Creator and Founder
Piano, Violin, Conductor

Elliot is a 20-year-old music student currently training at Leeds College of Music in Classical Piano performance. As well as piano he has performed and lead many youth and regional orchestras as a violinist. He has a background in theatre and has music directed shows including
Turn and Face the Strange (2017-2018), Little Shop of Horrors (2016), Blood Brothers (2015), Our house (2017)

Jade Farnill

Musical Theatre

Jade is a 20-year-old singer and actress from Hull. After completing a 1 year foundation course at The Arden School of Theatre (UCEN Manchester) she will go on in September to train at The Hammond School towards a BA in Musical Theatre. Credits include Ocho and The Kings of Hull (The John Godber Company) Fallen Leaves (East Riding Theatre) Hairspray, Rock of Ages, Little Shop of Horrors and Blood Brothers) (Archbishop Sentamu Academy, 2016-2018

Lewis Kesterton


Since receiving his first piano lesson at the age of seven, Lewis’s love of music, and particularly the piano, have continually blossomed. Since achieving Grade Eight with distinction in 2013, he went on to study at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire under the guidance of renowned concert pianists Mark Bebbington and Katherine Lam, where he developed not only proficiency as a musician, but also a strong passion for teaching. Lewis now continues his studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire. under the tutelage of Penelope Roskell.

Molly Darley


After three years studying classical saxophone, Molly graduated in 2019 from Leeds College of Music. Her passion for new and exciting works has taken her across Europe and given her the chance to perform alongside musicians such as Danielle Hope (Wizard of Oz, Les Miserables (West End)) and Marc Almond (Soft Cell). While currently working at the Royal Northern College of Music, Molly plays in a saxophone quartet as well as singing in the RNCM staff choir. Facebook @MollyWoodwind

Laura Banks

Musical Theatre

Laura is a 20 year old actor and freelance artist from Hull. After her training at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in Musical theatre Foundation, Laura returned to Hull to audition for acting degrees whilst continuing her training at The Northern Academy of Performing Arts. Some of her credits include The Land of Green Ginger (MACNAS Theatre Company), Rose Fenny in Dogfight (NAPA), Her Story (Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts), The Laramie Project (NAPA), We Are the Future (NAPA, Hull city of culture 2017), Thoroughly Modern Millie (NAPA), Mephistopheles in Doctor Faustus (NAPA) and Sue in A Slice Of Saturday Night (NAPA).

Emily Hanover


Currently reading MSci Chemistry at the University of Birmingham, Emily’s love and enthusiasm for music has remained steadfast and continues to grow. She is in receipt of a prestigious Music Scholarship from the University, allowing her to continue learning with Elaine Ackers. As a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain (2016-2018), she performed in such venues as the Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester and the Barbican in London, under the baton the likes of Marion Alsop, Sir Mark Elder and Thomas Adès.

Eden Clark

Violin, Flute, Piccolo

Eden Clark is studying violin performance at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with a scholarship. She studies under the tutelage of Cerys Jones, founding member of the Heath Quartet. Prior to studying at the RWCMD, Eden auditioned for Penny Stirling at Yorkshire Young Musicians. Eden attended for nine years studying violin, flute, piano and voice. Her musical studies also included composition, theory, applied musicianship, harmony and improvisation.

Archie Batty

Trumpet, Saxophone, Conductor

Archie Batty is a Professional Trumpeter, Saxophonist and Conductor based in Yorkshire. Archie graduated from the Leeds College of music in 2019 after studying Classical Trumpet, Jazz saxophone and Conducting and has since been working as an instrumental teacher, Music Center instructor and performer around Yorkshire. His playing has taken him across Europe performing in Germany, Czech Republic, Belgium, Netherlands and Italy, as well as across the UK including the Royal Albert Hall and Symphony Hall.

Rebecca Husdon

Clarinet, Saxophone

Emily Tomlinson


Emily is currently studying Violin performance at the Royal Norther College of Music. Prior to RNCM, Emily studied with Rachael England at Yorkshire Young Musicians. Emily has been with Passion for Classical from the start and has recently performed in the online Bach Double Violin Concerto project. She has also been a violinist on the original premier of Turn and Face the Strange with Elliot Jarvis.

Luca Vitale

Cello, Voice

Luca moved to Leeds in 2017 to study BA Hons in Classical Voice at Leeds College of Music under the tutelage of Tim Ochala-Greenough and David Watkins-Holmes. Over the past three years he has performed with a diverse number of groups including the LCoM Chamber Choir and Orchestra (cello), Contemporary Pop Choir, Leeds Contemporary Singers, LCoM Opera Scenes. As a classically trained vocalist (tenor) and cellist, Luca continues to work as a freelance musician and music teacher in the North of England.

Kenny Metham

Social Media, Show host

Kenny recently became part of Passion for Classical, when he was the incredible host of our online concert, Sofa Symphony. Kenny is currently studying at the University of Leeds and is a blogger with a social media following of around 50,000 people. He has worked with many established brands such as Ralph Lauren, Daniel Wellington, Argos, Northern by arriva and many more!

Ben Hawley


Ben is an actor currently based in Hull. He studied at Archbishop Sentamu Academy and hopes to go onto to further training. His appearances include, Little Shop of Horrors, Grease, Rock of Ages, OCHO.

Katherine Gilroy


Katherine is an actor currently based in Hull and Wigan, studying at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts. Prior to studying at ARLA, Katherine studied at Archbishop Sentamu Academy. Her appearances include, Little Shop of Horrors, Blood Brothers, Grease, Rock of Ages.

 Prince Gandifere


Prince is an actor currently based in Hull and London, studying at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Prior to studying in London, Prince studied at Archbishop Sentamu Academy. His appearances include Little Shop of Horrors, Blood Brothers, Grease, Rock of Ages, Sister Act.
